All Weapons
Combat Shotgun
A versatile close-to-mid range workhorse. The Sticky Bomb mod fires explosive grenades that detonate on impact -- essential for staggering Cacodemons. The Full Auto mod turns it into a sustained DPS machine for close-range encounters.
Heavy Cannon
A precise automatic rifle effective at all ranges. The Precision Bolt mod enables scoped headshots that deal massive damage and destroy weak points like Arachnotron turrets and Mancubus cannons. The Micro Missiles mod provides sustained DPS.
Plasma Rifle
A rapid-fire energy weapon that melts through energy shields. Essential against Shield Soldiers and Doom Hunters. The Heat Blast mod stores damage dealt and releases it as an AoE explosion. The Microwave Beam mod locks onto and disintegrates enemies.
Rocket Launcher
A heavy explosive weapon dealing massive splash damage. The Remote Detonate mod allows mid-air rocket detonation for precise area control. The Lock-on Burst mod fires a volley of three tracking rockets -- devastating against flying enemies like Revenants and Pain Elementals.
Ballista
A high-damage energy crossbow that fires slow but powerful bolts. The Arbalest mod fires explosive bolts with a larger blast radius. The Destroyer Blade mod charges a horizontal energy wave that cleaves through multiple enemies. Core weapon in the SSG + Ballista quick-swap combo.
Chain Gun
A devastating rotary cannon with extreme fire rate. The Mobile Turret mod plants the Slayer and unleashes maximum DPS -- ideal for melting Tyrants and other tanky enemies. The Energy Shield mod deploys a protective barrier while firing, useful for advancing on dangerous foes.
BFG-9000
The most powerful ranged weapon in the Slayer arsenal. Fires a slow-moving energy orb that emits tendrils, damaging and killing most demons in its path. BFG ammo is extremely scarce -- save it for overwhelming encounters or Archvile spawns. One shot clears most of an arena.
Crucible
An ancient Sentinel energy sword that kills any non-boss demon in a single strike. Crucible charges are rare and precious -- best used on Archviles, Tyrants, or Buff Totems. The ultimate panic button when an arena becomes unmanageable.
Super Shotgun & Meat Hook
- 1The Meat Hook grapple latches onto demons, pulling you toward them at high speed -- use it for aggressive repositioning.
- 2Meat Hook sets demons on fire, generating armor shards on contact -- treat it as a defensive tool too.
- 3At point-blank range, the Super Shotgun deals the highest burst damage of any non-BFG weapon.
- 4Combine Meat Hook into Super Shotgun blast into Ballista shot for the fastest heavy-demon kill combo.
- 5The Meat Hook has a short cooldown -- weave other weapons between grapples to maintain momentum.
BFG 9000 & Unmaykr
- 1The BFG fires a slow-moving projectile that damages every demon in line of sight with energy tendrils.
- 2Save BFG ammo for Slayer Gate arenas and encounters with multiple Super-Heavy demons at once.
- 3BFG ammo is extremely scarce -- each shot costs 30 cells. Never waste it on Fodder demons.
- 4The Unmaykr is an alternative BFG-ammo weapon unlocked by completing all six Slayer Gates.
- 5Unmaykr fires rapid projectiles that deal high single-target DPS -- better than BFG against lone targets.
Ballista & Precision Weapons
- 1The Ballista fires a powerful energy bolt with a small charge time -- ideal for sniping weak points.
- 2Use the Arbalest mod to fire explosive bolts that deal splash damage and stagger Cacodemons instantly.
- 3The Destroyer Blade mod charges a horizontal energy wave that cuts through multiple demons in a line.
- 4Quick-switch between Ballista and Super Shotgun for the highest sustained DPS combo in the game.
- 5Heavy Cannon Precision Bolt is perfect for destroying Arachnotron turrets and Mancubus arm cannons.
Combat Flow & Weapon Switching
