Found north of Mattock Pond near Scarlett Meadows.
Legendary Moose
One of the rarest legendary animals. Found near Brandywine Drop in the northeast.
Legendary Pronghorn
Available only in the epilogue. Found in New Austin territory.
Legendary Ram
Found west of Valentine near the Cattail Pond area.
Legendary Wolf
Travels with a pack. Kill the pack first, then the legendary wolf.

White-Tailed Deer
Use a rifle with High Velocity or Express ammo for a clean kill. Aim for the head or heart.
American Bison
Massive animal requires high-powered rifle. Use Express ammo for clean kill.
Grizzly Bear
Extremely dangerous. Use Dead Eye for headshot. Keep distance.
American Alligator
Shoot in the head from safe distance. They are aggressive if you get close.
Cougar
Cougars are fast and deadly. Use Dead Eye immediately when spotted. Headshot required.
Gray Wolf
Travel in packs. Kill the alpha first. Use rifle for clean pelt.
Wild Boar
Medium-sized animal. Use rifle or improved arrows for perfect pelt.
Pronghorn
Fast runners. Use Dead Eye for headshot while they flee.
Elk
Large animal. Use high-powered rifle with Express ammo for clean kill.
Moose
Extremely rare spawn. Check Cairn Lake, Brandywine Drop, and Owanjila.
Rabbit
Small animal. Must use Varmint Rifle or Small Game Arrows for perfect pelt.
Black Bear
Less aggressive than grizzly. Rifle headshot for perfect pelt.
Badger
Small animal found at night. Use Varmint Rifle for perfect pelt.
Raccoon
Nocturnal. Found near water and camps at night. Use Varmint Rifle.
Snake
Very small. Must use Small Game Arrows for perfect skin.
Opossum
Nocturnal animal. Plays dead when threatened. Use Varmint Rifle.
Florida Panther
Extremely dangerous and stealthy. Use Dead Eye immediately. Very rare spawn.
Bighorn Ram
Found on mountain slopes. Use rifle for clean kill.
Coyote
Medium animal. Use rifle for perfect pelt. Often heard howling at dusk.
Red Fox
Small-medium animal. Varmint Rifle or repeater for perfect pelt.
Iguana
Found on rocks in warm areas. Use Varmint Rifle.

Bald Eagle
