Strengths
- +Two healer specs offers flexibility between Discipline and Holy playstyles
- +Mass Dispel is a unique and powerful group utility spell
- +Power Infusion is an extremely valuable DPS cooldown for allies
- +Shadow provides excellent sustained damage with strong self-healing
- +Discipline can DPS and heal simultaneously through Atonement
Weaknesses
- -Discipline has a very high skill ceiling and is punishing if Atonement timing is off
- -Low mobility -- no baseline movement abilities beyond Fade
- -Cloth armor means lowest physical damage reduction
- -Shadow can struggle on pure single-target compared to other DPS specs
- -Holy is strong but rarely top-tier in competitive raiding metas
Tips & Tricks
- 1Discipline heals through Atonement -- apply Atonement to allies, then DPS to heal them.
- 2Power Word: Shield should be used proactively before damage, not as a reactive heal.
- 3Shadow should maintain Vampiric Touch and Shadow Word: Pain on all targets for multi-DoT damage.
- 4Mass Dispel removes magic effects from multiple targets and can even dispel immunities in PvP.
- 5Leap of Faith (Life Grip) can pull an ally to you -- save them from deadly mechanics.
